blogs

Introduction

The Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) declared the HSC Results 2019 for Class 12 across Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. Nearly 14.9 lakh students appeared for the examination across nine divisions of Maharashtra.

This year’s results showed a noticeable shift in overall performance trends, raising important questions for students, parents, and educators.

Overall Performance Overview

The overall pass percentage dropped to 83.13%, compared to 85.99% in 2018. This decline indicates increasing competition and possible changes in exam patterns or evaluation methods.Among the nine divisions:

Kokan secured the highest pass rate at 94.85%
Pune followed with 89.58%
Aurangabad recorded 88.74%
Amravati achieved 88.08%
Mumbai ranked near the bottom with 80.58%

The results clearly show variation in regional performance across Maharashtra.

With increasing competition and evolving exam formats, students must prepare with clarity, consistency, and mentorship. Academic excellence now depends not just on hard work, but on the right strategy and guidance.

Institutions that focus on concept-based learning and performance tracking play a crucial role in shaping student success.
